Coating/Rewinding Machine Operator

Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking to add to their rapidly growing team in the form of a Coating/Rewinding Machine Operator. This globally renowned company manufacture labels and supply machinery into the food production, operating for over 100 years, they have an impressive outreach of 120 countries.

As a Coating/Rewinding Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating multiple finishing machines to produce print on linerless label rolls. Experience running linerless coating machines is preferred but experienced machine operators in other related areas of manufacturing or warehousing would also be considered.

The Role:

• Operating the coating machinery in a safe working manner
• Organise systems to ensure all jobs for print shift are ready
• Follow instructions and complete within a given timeline
• Manage silicone/adhesive consistency during set up and operation#
• Ensure daily schedules are met
• Complete documentation for traceability and BRC
• Daily maintenance and care of machinery.

The Candidate:

• Experience running slitter rewinder/gluing machine is preferable
• High attention to detail and quality conscious
• A reliable team worker but able to use initiative and work independently
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full time permanent position, £26,000 per annum circa inclusive of double day shift allowance.
