Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking to add to their rapidly growing team in the form of a Flexo Printer. This globally renowned company manufacture labels and supply machinery into the food production sector, operating for over 100 years, they have an impressive outreach of 120 countries.

As a Flexo Printer, you will be responsible for operating cutting-edge machinery to create printed materials. Experience within flexo label printing is preferred, however, experience in a litho or other flexographic roles will be welcomed.

The Role:

• Setting up and running the printing presses whilst adhering to safe working practices
• Colour matching
• Identifying defective material and potential issues
• Monitoring the quality of the press
• Inspecting reel end samples and adjusting as necessary to maintain quality
• Ensuring data is accurately recorded
• Following work instructions and customer specifications
• Meeting or exceeding performance standards
• Understand all procedures relevant to the role
• Work to set KPI’s
• Complete documentation for traceability and BRC,

The Candidate:

• Experience within a flexo label printing role
• Experience operating MPS 530 10 colour is preferred but not essential
• High attention to detail and quality conscious
• A reliable team worker but able to use initiative and work independently
• Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Salary & Benefits:

This is a full time permanent position, £38,500 per annum circa inclusive of double day shift allowance.
