Our client, based in Wiltshire, is a family run corrugated packaging manufacturer who have been operating for over 30 years.

Reporting to the Shift Manager & Cell Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the machines and making sure they are working at full capacity and are well maintained.

The Role:

• Operate and maintain flexographic printing machines
• Monitor the printing process to ensure consistent print quality
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may occur during the printing process
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure production targets are met
• Maintain accurate production records and reports
• Lead and supervise machine operation by communicating with your team
• Make sure your team is fully informed of their workload
• Communicate with other departments during the entire production process
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Attend meetings and training sessions whenever necessary.

The Candidates:

• Experience in the corrugated industry with relevant experience of flexographic printing
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop team working and problem-solving
• PC literacy, able to use MRP's, (Material Resource Plan), such as ABACA PKG 3000
• Ability to build effective relationships with work colleagues
• Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives
• Enthusiasm and determination to excel.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working early and late rotational shifts (Early 5:45am – 14:00pm / Late 13:45pm – 22:00pm).

Salary: Basic of £30,500 with overtime available, company pension, performance bonus schemes and 29 days holidays (including Bank Holidays).
