Position: Account Manager – POS
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Hybrid – Homebased and Surrey based client site.

 

My client is one of the UK’s leading customer communications agencies, renowned for creating and delivering print and digital communications with well-known global brands. They are on the lookout for an experienced Account Manager to join their Creative Team.

Reporting to the Account Director, the ideal candidate will have strong account management and client service skills, be conscientious and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full end to end POS and large format campaigns.
  • Support the Account Director with the creation of monthly/weekly reporting to include monthly MI packs and weekly forecasts.
  • Engage and support the commercial team in their negotiations with external/internal supplier on a job-by-job basis.
  • Support the team in achieving margin improvement targets and assist the AD in delivering against the Account Development Plan.
  • The ability to develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Be self-directed and able to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Attend client briefing meetings, be confident in offering advice and support
  • Suggest how to add value to processes and systems whenever possible
  • Spend time in stores viewing campaigns and offer ideas for improvements etc
  • Support client and MPD team with any post campaign follow ups, issue resolution etc
  • Ensure that all client information is kept up to date and accurate at all times
  • Create any required reporting or forecasting for the client and business.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • At least 2 years’ experience within a similar role
  • Experience within the POS and or Large Format industry
  • Good social, communication and organisation skills and able to develop positive relationships
  • The ability to prioritise work and meet client needs with good accuracy, passion for quality and attention to detail
  • Confident in front of clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrates a positive and ‘can do’ approach at all times
  • Ability to be adaptable to business needs
  • Good IT literacy, including knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills.
