Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Pre-Employment Employability Tutor who will deliver sector specific employability courses to job seekers at locations across Greater Manchester.

You will be skilled in delivering level 1 or 2 qualifications in one or more of the following occupational sectors; Care, Hospitality, Retail, Business Admin, Customer Services, Facilities, Construction, Health & Safety in the Construction Environment and CSCS card or you will have previous experience working in any of these sectors and possess a good understand how to deliver this training.  You will be skilled in writing lesson plans/schemes of work, be able to develop resources and training material as needed and essentially you will be a passionate tutor, able to mentor learners throughout delivery to ensure they complete and achieve their qualification.

You will hold a minimum PTLLS teaching qualification (or equivalent), ideally a PGCE certificate or equivalent and be skilled in completing contractual paperwork and supporting across all audits or Ofsted inspections.  You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able adapt delivery to learners from all backgrounds and abilities and by able to travel across Greater Manchester as needed.

Due to the nature of this role you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
