Defect Administrator/Manager Remote


Job Description:

Defect Administrator/Manager
An experienced Defect Administrator or Defect Manager is required by an international financial services organisation to work with the Change team on a Policy Admin System upgrade and migration project.
You will need:

  • Strong hands-on experience of defect management processes and methodologies
  • Strong Jira experience for defect management, including configuring projects, workflows, and issue types
  • Understanding of testing lifecycle
  • Experience of analysing data to identify trends and drive best practice
  • Ability to work with all relevant parties to ensure effective defect management throughout the delivery life cycle
  • Strong stakeholder management experience
  • Experience of managing and working closely with 3rd Party Suppliers
  • Ability to triage based on severity, impact and urgency 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Metrics and Reporting
  • Training and support for users
  • Integration and automation of Jira with other tools and systems
