Are you a passionate MFL Teacher? Step Teachers have an outstanding opportunity for a talented Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) teacher to join a vibrant school community in West Suffolk. 

Position: MFL Teacher (French) Location: West Suffolk Start Date: September 2024 

The school is a “Good” Ofsted-rated school whose students feel safe and happy in the school. The MFL Teacher they would like to bring on board will have a positive attitude and a passion for delivering quality lessons and enriching young lives. 

Key Responsibilities of MFL Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in French and Spanish, catering to diverse learning styles and abilities. 
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes linguistic proficiency, cultural awareness, and a love for languages.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to enhance student engagement and achievement.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum, plan activities, and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements of MFL Teacher: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 
  • French speaking
  • Experience as MFL Teacher in UK mainstream school
  • Passion for language teaching and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Innovative and adaptable approach to teaching, with a commitment to continuous improvement. 
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and willingness to undergo necessary vetting checks
