This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of History who is committed to inspiring students through the fascinating subject of History.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic History lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Develop and implement History curricula that meet national standards.
  • Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and interest in History.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles within History.
  • Assess and track student progress in History, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Participate in extracurricular History activities and field trips to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive and comprehensive History education across the school.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in History or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 levels.
  • Strong knowledge of the History curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • A Teacher of History with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for History and a commitment to student success.
