Full-time or Part-time, Temporary (until end March 2025 - potential to extend)
We are recruiting for inspirational Youth Engagement Specialists who will work with young people across Oldham and Rochdale to overcome personal and educational challenges. You will work to get them to re-engage with/into education, employment, and training (EET) and you work to ensure that their employment/course sustains.

You will identify young people by engaging with schools, colleges, training providers, youth centres, statutory services etc. to offer support to young people helping them to gain skills, breakdown barriers to learning/work and to holistically support their aspirations whilst identifying new learning/work opportunities for them.

You will have previous experience engaging with young people aged 15-19 and up to 24 if they have SEND needs or healthcare plans.  You will be passionate in supporting young people and be skilled in managing the complex challenges and barriers they present with. You will be able build rapport quickly whilst managing a caseload and reporting on interventions whilst creating SMART targets at each customer meeting.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to be a vehicle driver with access to your own vehicle and you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
