Are you passionate about textiles and dedicated to inspiring young minds? An outstanding school in the heart of East Suffolk is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Textiles Teacher to join their team starting September

Position: Part-Time Textiles Teacher Location: East Suffolk Start Date: September Working Days: 3 to 4 days per week

About the Role: As a Textiles Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Inspire and engage students with creative and innovative textiles lessons.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that caters to a diverse range of abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s commitment to excellence in education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality textiles lessons.
  • Proven experience as a Textiles Teacher in UK mainstream school. 
  • Contribute to the development of the textiles department and extra-curricular activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject and best teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in teaching textiles or related subjects.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about education and committed to student success.
