Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Canning Town, London

Start Date: 17 June 2024

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in an “Outstanding” OFSTED-rated primary school? Step Teachers are working with a vibrant primary school looking for a Teaching Assistant for Year 2/3 to start on the 17th of June 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to support the learning and development of students.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Utilise strong behaviour management techniques to support students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant with SEN students is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEN and its impact on learning.
  • Administrative and front-of-house experience required.
  • Proven ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
