Job Description:

An unmissable opportunity for a top Lettings Manager/ Director to join an exciting lettings start up based in Bristol. My clients have enjoyed several years of success as property investors in Bristol and have seen first hand the difficulties in finding a good lettings company. Spurred on by this, they have decided to cold start their own agency, putting an emphasis on exceptional levels of customer service.

This role is incredibly exciting as the successful applicant will join the business as the very inception and will quickly be given the opportunity to become a shareholder in the business. You will be encouraged to bring your own idea’s to the table and help shape the business as you see fit. This really is a one off opportunity to join a business that you could very soon own a percentage of.


Lettings Manager – Benefits

  • £30k - £35k basic plus commission - £45k + OTE

Lettings Manager – Duties

  • Drive revenue and look for new and innovative ways to increase overall lettings business
  • Attending and instructing lettings valuations
  • Overseeing a portfolio of properties ensuring compliance and efficient management
  • Oversight of onboarding new stock
  • Anticipate business needs and adapt accordingly
  • Fostering a positive culture, motivating and leading from the front
  • Reviewing, analysing and improving process and procedure where necessary to optimise business performance
  • Cultivating and nurturing long lasting relationships with landlords and key stake holders
  • Reporting on profit and loss and forecasting.
  • Engaging in strategic conversations with the wider management team.
  • Staying informed and up to date on legislation and upcoming changes.


Lettings Manager – Experience Needed

  • Previous experience as a Lettings Manager or director.
  • ARLA qualified or equivalent ideally
  • You will be a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Negotiation skills are key and you will be well-spoken and well-presented.
  • Man management experience.
  • Proven track record in driving business forward, managing risk, regulation, and generating new business.
  • Some Property Management experience essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the lettings process and legislation.
