To put that into facts and figures, the UK part of this business represents over 60% of the whole organisations revenue which is to the tune of £20 Million! 

As a result of significant expansion, they are looking to grow and evolve their Technical Service and Commissioning Engineering Team with not 1 but 2 Service Engineer vacancies. This position will require frequent travel and some overnight stays, across a Monday to Friday schedule only (no weekend work). This position will allow you to be based from home and you will have your jobs managed and allocated to you by the Internal Service Team.

What will you be doing as their newly appointed Service Engineer?

  • Commission and perform routine planned preventative maintenance on the company’s products
  • Communicate and collaborate with both end-users (customers) as well as internal teams with updates on commissioning and service activities 
  • Create and complete comprehensive technical documentation after each customer and site visit 
  • Where needed and if your diary schedule is lighter in appointments, support our client on their site with commissioning activities 

What do you need to demonstrate in order to be shortlisted?

  • Full, clean and valid UK Driving License (this is an absolute deal-breaker due to the nature of the role) 
  • Full right to live and work in the UK without any restrictions (please note our client is not able to provide immediate or future sponsorship requests) 
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (HND, HNC etc.) in either Electrical Installation or Electronic Engineering 
  • At least 2 years of working in a similar role within electro-mechanical / electrical or electronic Service Engineering e.g. you may be a Commissioning Engineer etc.
