Our client, based in Essex, are looking for a Print Finisher to join their rapidly growing company. They are print and packaging specialists who are enthusiastic, supporters of their employees and their growth and wellbeing.

The Role:

• Maintain and operate machinery
• Confirm job details before cutting
• Work enthusiastically to achieve production targets
• Inspect pallets after cutting and complete daily quality checklists
• Perform make-ready and preventive maintenance activities and blade changes
• Maintain accurate daily records of time, materials usage and production information
• Assist with hand packing duties as needed
• Adhere to all company safety protocols, hygiene procedures and allergy management
• Report any potentially unsafe conditions issues to a supervisor
• Communicate any quality concerns or customer complaints.

The Candidate:

• Experience of operating Guillotines in a print finishing background
• Experience operating Polar Guillotines (desirable)
• Experience with hand jacks, electric pallet jacks and forklift certification (desirable)
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Salary & Benefits / Shifts

The starting salary for this role is £12.50ph / £26,000pa and is dependent on experience. Plus, benefits including overtime, EOT beneficiary, competitive holiday allowance, and much more. The shift pattern is 40 hours a week, working an 8 hour day between the hours of 7am and 7pm.
