Design and Technology Teacher Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Design and Technology in a mainstream UK classroom
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Passion for fostering creativity and innovation in students

Design and Technology Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Design and Technology curriculum
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
