Lead Shift Technician

Salary: £35,000 -  £44,000 DOE + £3,500 Shift Premium

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Basingstoke, which is recruiting for an Electrically biased Lead Shift Technician  

Lead Shift Technician Duties & Experience:

• PPM's on production/manufacturing machinery
• Reactive maintenance (Both electrical and mechanical)
• Continuous Improvement within the plant
• Mentoring junior Engineers
• Upskilling the team
• Facilities maintenance
• Fault find & pre-empt electrical issues & troubleshoot
• Plant maintenance
• Fault finding

Lead Shift Technician Experience:

• Experience in an FMCG/Manufacturing/Production environment is KEY!
• Experience using PLC's
• Experience mentoring junior Engineers
• Mechanical machinery maintenance
• Electrical machinery maintenance
• Electrical qualifications / time served apprenticeship etc..
• Experience in a heavily automated site
• Mentoring junior engineers '' upskilling the team
• Able to fault find on multi meter, PLC's & basic 3 phase
• Be able to read and work from electrical schematics
