Mixture of two’s and three’s (Days and Nights) panama shift, one in two weekends off compared to 4on/4off which is three in four weekends.

The Company:

 

My Client boast one of, if not the best Retention rates within their Engineering department. They have had two Maintenance engineers retire last year so are now looking for two additional electrically biased maintenance engineers to join their team. The site is incredibly clean and you will mostly be working on Robotics (mainly Pick and place/fanuc/Staubli) and other machinery which includes extractor units, Pumps, conveyors, ancillary equipment amongst other machinery. They are looking for electrical maintenance engineers who would like exposure to PLC’s. They are willing to up-skill and invest in training and courses from the OEM and bring as much in house as possible.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:

  • Qualified to level 3 (NVQ/C&G) or Apprenticeship served in an electrical discipline
  • At least 5 years experience maintaining/repairing special purpose machinery as an electrically biased maintenance engineer within a factory environment as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
  • PLC knowledge is advantageous – need to be able to fault find look at inputs/outputs
  • Would consider mechanical bias if they have electrical skills to a good standard
