An ‘Outstanding’ Secondary school in London are seeking a ‘HLTA’ to join them from September on a full-time basis. The school itself is a richly diverse inner London community and a robustly comprehensive school where difference is celebrated. HLTA Role:
- Working with small groups of SEN pupils to deliver focused and engaging lessons in numeracy and literacy.
- Monitoring and assessing the progress of pupils, providing feedback, and implementing strategies to support their learning journey.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each pupil’s education.
HLTA Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with SEN pupils in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge and skills in teaching numeracy and literacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of SEN pupils.
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
