A friendly and welcoming, one form entry junior school in Camberwell are looking to recruit an experienced Year 2 Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2024.

The Role

You will be joining the school on a full-time basis as a class teacher in year 2 from September. Whilst the school is 1-form-entry you will be supported by senior leadership and the phase leader with many of the plans already in place. You will need to be able to quickly establish positive relationships with a range of pupils and be able to manage classrooms effectively. The class are settled and working at a good level but require a dedicated teacher to support them through the next academic year and SATS. There are pupils with Special Educational needs in the class and you will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.

This lovely, one-form-entry Cof E primary school is in the heart of Camberwell and offers a good education to pupils attending the school. There is a diverse intake and many pupils require additional support but once this is provided go on to make good progress. The senior leadership team are commitment to improving standards through a rich and creative curriculum.

• Outstanding teaching ability
• Strong classroom management skills
