Job Title: ERP Sales Director
Location: Remote (UK and Europe) with the ability to travel to customer sites (can be based anywhere in the UK)
Salary: £120k + Commission
Experience Required: MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING ERP/SAP-based solutions, ideally with a TIER 1 or TIER 2 provider
Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and ambitious ERP Sales Director to join their fast-growing organization. This role is pivotal in driving new business sales and capitalizing on a significant upcoming partnership that will expand their market reach and capabilities. The ERP Sales Director will be responsible for finding and converting their own leads and will eventually build and lead a team of sales professionals, focusing on deal sizes between £1 million and £200 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Software Sales: Sell ERP software solutions directly to new customers, with a focus on the manufacturing sector.
- Lead Generation and Nurturing: Generate and nurture leads through networking events, LinkedIn groups, and other channels. Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Customer Engagement: Travel to customer sites across the UK and Europe to build relationships and close deals.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, IFS, Epicor, Sage, and others to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales and industry-specific partners to demo products and establish warm leads.
- Training and Development: Participate in comprehensive training programs, including a week-long course to get fully up to speed with the company's offerings and value propositions.
- Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed sales targets, with the expectation to sell at least three new deals per year within the £1 million to £200 million range, earning a 30% commission on deals.
- Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position the company's solutions.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals to expand sales efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling ERP software solutions, with a history of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- ERP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, IFS, and Sage.
- Sales Acumen: Strong ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals. Experience working with vendor partners is a plus.
- Ambitious and Driven: Highly motivated, money-driven, and ready to take on a challenging role with high expectations.
- Remote Work Capability: Ability to work 100% remotely while being able to travel as needed across the UK and Europe.
- Team Leadership Potential: Experience or potential to build and lead a sales team.
