£40k PA + 20% commission 

Work Hours and Benefits

  • Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm.  Please note this role requires some travel which may incorporate an earlier start or a later finish.

As a Client Relations Manager, you will work closely with the team to ensure the success of events.

Your main responsibility will be working alongside the Events Director to manage all new enquiries, meeting clients to discuss their event requirements, and maintaining communication throughout the event process.

To excel in this role, you must have a proven track record in a similar position, demonstrating your ability to handle event coordination with efficiency and professionalism.

You will actively contribute to our weekly team meetings, offering advice and sharing your expertise with the team.

In addition to working with our existing clients, you will use your networking skills to secure new client meetings and briefs each month, based on financial forecast.

You will maintain and nurture relationships with local council representatives, bids, and other relevant stakeholders. Attending relevant events and staying updated on current industry insights will also be part of your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all new enquiries in collaboration with the Events Director
  • Meet clients quarterly to discuss current and future event requirements
  • Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the event process, ending with a debrief
  • Update and develop business contacts to expand the network
  • Proactively secure new briefs and leads based on financial forecast
  • Connect with personal and professional contacts to progress the business
  • Develop high-quality proposals to commercialise existing concepts
  • Pitch concepts to heads of Commercialisation, Events, and Marketing
  • Brainstorm concepts and build client proposals
  • Manage budgets and quotes effectively
  • Use and create systems to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a small team
  • Passion for the events industry and desire to progress
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Knowledge of current events and industry insights
