Step Teachers are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Secondary school located in Enfield and they're seeking a History Teacher to start immediately or in September 2024 on a Long-Term Supply basis. The History Teacher will be joining a team that prides itself in providing young people with an education of excellence that will change their lives and inspire them to be the leaders of tomorrow. They foster a culture of enabling every student to excel, not only in their education but in the opportunities that they pursue when they leave. 

As the ideal History Teacher for this role, you will:

  • Strong knowledge of the humanities curriculum.
  • Organized and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
  • History Teacher who can assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them to progress.
  • The History Teacher must be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements for a History Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Qualified History Teacher
  • Demonstrated experience teaching art at a secondary level.
