Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in an "Outstanding" Ofsted-rated Secondary school in the Newham area? Then we're looking for you! They're currently seeking a Long-Term supply Teaching Assistant to start in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- The Teaching Assistant must be able to assist with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Help assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting is essential.
- Level 3 qualification is essential.
- Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
- SEN qualification and experience would be desirable.
