Quantity Surveyor – Wirral
Salary - £40,000 - £50,000   per annum
Hours – 37 Hours Full time permanent

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a new opportunity within a role that can offer a fantastic progression path? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established growing company based in Bromborough Wirral.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Managing the tendering process, evaluating bids, and selecting contractors and suppliers.
• Managing contracts between clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with terms.
• Assessing the value of completed work on-site and processing payments to contractors and suppliers.
• Identifying and managing potential financial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluating and negotiating variations to the original project scope and budget, ensuring fair compensation for additional work.
• Assisting in resolving disputes related to costs, contracts, and project progress, often acting as an intermediary between parties.
• Ensuring that all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including health and safety regulations.

Person specification:

• Quantity Surveying degree preferred
• 2 years’ experience as a  Quality Surveyor
• Exceptional communication skills – written and oral.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a team
