My client is a Global leader supplying Cutting tools and tooling solutions for the metalworking industry. Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for a Technical Sales & Application Engineer to join the Sales team in the South West of the UK to cover Gloucester, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Taunton, and Dorchester Areas.

The successful Sales Engineer will have a passion & enthusiasm for sales and working with customers / key accounts, have cutting tool experience and is able to grow with business whilst maintaining / growing key accounts and opening new pipelines.

The Ideal engineer for this role will need to have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Apprenticeship or HNC/HNF), great understanding and Knowledge of cutting tools.

Other benefits include a salary of £48k - £60K DOE, 15% bonus, Hybrid or Elec Company Car, Private Medical, Death in Service x6 salary and a superb overall benefits package.

To be successful as an Sales Engineer, we’re looking for the following skills / experience

• Time Served Engineer who is currently in a Cutting tool sales role
• Passionate about the sector and knowledge to support existing & new clients
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and being customer focused
• Confidently demonstrate solutions and benefits to the end user whilst on site
• Full UK driving license
