A 1-form-entry primary school in West Drayton, Hillingdon are looking for an experienced SENCO to join their school on a part-time basis two or three days a week.

The Role

As the SENCO you will work closely with the senior leadership team to proactively lead the Special Needs provision across the school.

Your role will include:

• Preparing Education, Health and Care Plans and making applications
• Updating the school’s SEND record of need and making sure that there are excellent records all pupil's progress and needs.
• Leading annual reviews
• Providing specialist support for teachers and support staff in the school
• Communications with parents, outside agencies and support teams across the borough
• Organising training for staff so they are aware and confident about how to meet the needs of pupils within the school.

This SENCO role is offered on a part-time basis for the academic year. The school can offer 2/3 days a week. To apply for this position it is preferred for you to hold the SENCO qualification and have experience within a primary school setting.
