Job Description:

We currently have a 6 month contract role available for a Forensic Planner based in London.  This might be extended after the 6 months and is working for a large railway enginering firm.

Work Description and Essential Skills/Experience:

The Forensic Planner/Delay Analyst will be required to work collaboratively with the Claims Manager and Project Team Members to produce;

A delay event tracker to capture the key delay events which arose, which were outside the clients control. The Forensic Planner/Delay Analyst will liaise with the project team, including but not limited to Work Package Owners, Project Managers, Planners, Commercial colleagues etc to capture these events, according to the Claim Plan and structured method of engagement established by the Claims Manager

An impacted programme to demonstrate impacts to the critical path of the project, and to quantify the total number of days of prolongation which the client has entitlement to, pre-mitigation

Quantify the float used up by the delay events which have impacted the critical path

Identify any mitigations which the client has enacted, and how many days of time have been saved cumulatively

Tools/Test Equipment: the candidate will be granted access to the P6 Primavera database and .xer files but should possess their own Primavera P6 licence.
