Job Description:

Class Act Teaching Services are currently working with an FE College in Abingdon who are have multiple Learning Support Assistant vacancies. The positions are permanent and have an immediate start; there is some flexibility in terms of hours and days and the option is available for both full time and part time Learning Support Assistant positions. 

Under the former Ofsted ratings for schools, this College was rated 'Good'. They take pride in being able to offer an inclusive learning environment for students to build their confidence and prepare them to take their next steps after college. 

Learning Support Assistant Role:

  • Able to provide 1 to 1, small group and small group support 
  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
  • Ability to support students and encourage their progression
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively

Learning Support Assistant Requirements:

  • Recent experience working with children in any setting with SEND 
  • Good communication and ability to work well in a team
  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
