Head of Commercial

Profectus Recruitment is proud to be partnered with a leading software solutions company who specialize in the Heritage sector. They are recruiting for a Head of Commercial on a permanent basis.

Role Summary: The Head of Commercial will lead all commercial activities, driving growth, new product areas, and emerging markets. Working closely with the Head of Operations, you'll ensure business growth and strategy execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy.
  • Identify new revenue and market opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Oversee product development and marketing strategies.
  • Represent the company at external events.
  • Manage the sales and marketing team, including performance reviews and team development.
  • Achieve business targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Extensive sales and marketing experience, ideally in the Heritage or software solutions market.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to innovate, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities.
  • A degree in business, management, or IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Travel required; valid driving license.

Desirable:

  • Presentation skills, technical IT knowledge, and experience with project management.
