Technical Print Specialist – Office Printers
Up to £45,000 based on experience + package
Home + Field based (NORTH/MIDS)
We’re working with a global name within print and imaging to assist them in their search for a technically minded but client relationship driven professional to join a new area of the business within MFD print equipment. With the role being multi-faceted each day will be different, you’ll be responsible for working closely with the equipment resellers and partners, providing technical advice and guidance on the equipment, bolstering relationships, and ensuring a seamless service.
This role would suit a people’s person, someone who is a master of building on existing relationships but also has great commercial and technical acumen. You will have strong experience and understanding of office equipment / print devices and be passionate about the industry – perhaps as an ex-demonstrator or service engineer, who is now excelling in a client focused role.

The Role:
- Manage allocated client accounts to deliver service support and reviews to increase performance within partners
- Acting as a specialist to support the growth and development of the partners service organisation
- Providing various levels of technical training to partners and service providers, both remotely and in person
- Escalating issues to the next level of technical support level if needed
- Manage product performance and reliability
- Manage warranty claims and spare parts, reporting info to the supply chain department
The Person
- A strong technical understanding of office based print equipment
- Can build confidence with colleagues and clients
- Tenacious, determined, and forward thinking with an excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of various Operations Systems and Office Software including Network technologies
- Can communicate technical information in an easy to digest way through a variety of different mediums
- Confident communicator, happy to deliver training, guidance, and support to others
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary of up to £45,000 based on experience plus package including 10% performance related bonus, car/car allowance, private medical, life assurance, 26 days holidays plus Bank Holidays, and more.
