Position: Teaching Assistant

Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Enfield that is looking for a Teaching Assistant. This school provides a vibrant and caring community where students build strong friendships and develop leadership skills. They also ensure a safe and supportive environment for learning and personal growth.

Teaching Assistant Role:

• Make a positive impact academically, socially, and emotionally within the classroom.
• Cultivate positive relationships with the Class Teacher and other staff members.
• Provide feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• A Level 3 Teaching Assistant/Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
• SEN experience is desirable.
