Finance Assistant
Temp to Perm Opportunity
£23088 per annum - £12 per hour
8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Hybrid working pattern - 4 days at home with 1 day in the office per week.
Start 14th October - 12 weeks temps leading to a permanent contract.
This is an opportunity to join a profit for purpose organisation within the finance department specifically working within the accounts payable team.
You would be joining a friendly team of 3 to help and support across the following activities:
- Paying suppliers.
- Processing staff expenses.
- Reconciling supplier statements.
- Ensuring invoices are recorded promptly, accurately and on the correct purchase ledger account.
- Implement and follow through any changes to processes and transactions to agreed standards and times scales.
- Upload bank statements daily to inhouse system, processing receipt and payment related transactions promptly and accurately onto the correct ledger account and allocating against the relevant invoices, where appropriate.
- Manage the receipt and banking of cash and cheques into the department and associated transactions.
- Manage a ledger of customers ranging from key clients - high value accounts to high volume - low value accounts.

This position will suit someone who enjoys inputting data accurately, has great attention to detail and loves following a process. The volume of work is high within this team so accuracy is key.
