Warehouse Operative – Nightshift

Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Start Date: ASAP
Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:30 pm to 7:00 am
• Occasional Fridays (Overtime): 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm
  Salary: £25-28k Basic, plus a discretionary bonus based on group, branch, and individual performance.

Overview of the Warehouse Operative role:

Our client is a leading distributor of thermoplastic sheet, rod, and tubing, servicing the fabrication and signage marketplace. Owned by the global leader in acrylic manufacturing, the company is expanding its operations and is recruiting a Nightshift Warehouse Operative for their distribution centre in Chelmsford.

Requirements/Qualifications of the Warehouse Operative Role:

• Licenses: Forklift license is essential.
• Experience: Proven experience in a busy, high-pick value warehouse.
• Skills: Strong communication skills and excellent knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with Schelling cutting saws is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
