We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a thriving Primary Academy in Great Yarmouth. This long-term role is set to begin in October and offers the opportunity to become part of a welcoming and supportive team, providing high-quality education to a class of 30 eager learners.

Position Overview:

• Location: Great Yarmouth
• Role: Year 3 Teacher (Primary)
• Start Date: October
• Duration: Long-term placement (potential for extension or permanent position)
• Class Size: 30 students
• Support: Full-time Teaching Assistant in class

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 3 curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, and mark work, ensuring all pupils progress and meet learning targets.
• Work collaboratively with the Teaching Assistant to support the needs of every child.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
• Regularly assess and monitor students’ progress, adapting teaching methods as needed.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Ability to plan differentiated lessons and manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
