Business Development Manager - Folding Box Board Salesperson

Yorkshire / Lancashire / Greater Manchester

Up to £60,000 + car allowance (base salary is DOE)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Folding Box Board Salesperson to join this growing business. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling folding box board products to various industries, including cosmetics, health & beauty, food, drink, confectionary and consumer good categories. You will be tasked with developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development:
    • Identify and target potential customers in industries such as food & beverage, cosmetics, and consumer goods.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the folding box board sector.
    • Present and demonstrate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of folding box board products to prospective clients.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
    • Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the folding box board market.
    • Stay informed on industry developments, product innovations, and emerging customer needs.
  • Negotiation and Closing:
    • Prepare and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
    • Close deals effectively, ensuring profitability while meeting customer expectations.
    • Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
  • Sales Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Manager.
    • Monitor and report on customer performance, sales pipeline, and market feedback.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the paperboard, packaging, or printing industries.
    • Experience with B2B sales and managing client accounts.
    • Familiarity with folding box board, its applications, and the packaging process is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

This is a full time, permanent role, you must be based within one hour of West Yorkshire.
