Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Edgware to find a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team, working with a class of Key Stage 1 students. Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Role:

• Making a positive impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivery of activities.
• Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude when faced with challenges.
