Position: SEN Teacher

Location: Edgware

Start Date: November 2024

Type: Part-time (Once a week)

Step Teachers are working with a primary school in Edgeware to find a qualified SEN Teacher to join their team in November 2024. The school is eager to find a SEN Teacher who is organised, creative and ready to engage their students with fun, play-based learning.

SEN Teacher– Role:

  • Focus on delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of Year 1/2 students.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers and other members of staff throughout the school.

SEN Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Recent experience as an SEN Teacher in a Primary School.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A genuine passion for working with children with special educational needs.
