We are working with an established business in South Cerney who are hiring a Operations Controller for a 12 month maternity cover.

Based: South Cerney, Parking onsite

Salary: £30-£32k PA

Contract: 12 months

This role is for a friendly, busy team that work assigning drivers to projects, jobs and coordinating their travel and hours. 

• Chase Purchase orders once the jobs are confirmed
• Send vehicle details/training packs to each client prior to job start.
• Manage & deal with queries from Operators and clients
• Liaise with the Transport manager to ensure truck availability as required Liaise with the Training manger to ensure all training for Operators is up to date and correct and training packs are available when required
• Ensure all site inductions have been booked and completed prior to attending site

Who we are looking for:

This position requires you to liaise with a variety of people and at different levels so excellent communication is essential.

• Experience of working in Operations and/or Logistics desirable.
• Strong, confident personality with excellent time keeping.
• Effective communication & listening skills.
• Ability to thrive and succeed in a busy, ever-changing environment
• Sense of humour!
