Job Description 

Step Teachers are collaborating with a Primary school in Tavistock to find a passionate 121 TA who wants to make a difference in the lives of children. If you have experience working as a 121 TA, we want to hear from you! This is an ongoing supply role, 4 days per week. Mon-Thurs. 

121 TA – Role:

• Provide one-on-one sessions with SEN children.
• Assist with classroom management and create a positive and safe classroom atmosphere.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities.
• Help maintain a clean and organised learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

 121 TA – Requirements:

• Recent experience working as a 121 TA in a primary school, with experience teaching Year 3
• A nurturing nature and the ability to inspire learners of all abilities.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Willingness to collaborate with teachers and support staff.
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
