Project Manager – Bespoke Automation 
£45,000 – £55,000 | Full-Time | 25 Days Holiday | Pension

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in automation or engineering? We’re looking for a driven individual to lead high-value projects (£150K to £2.5m), overseeing the full lifecycle from design to delivery. You’ll manage complex systems involving technologies like 6-axis robots, lasers, and ultrasonics, ensuring they meet customer specifications, are delivered on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects through all phases – design, procurement, build, testing, FAT, SAT and customer sign-off
• Manage budgets, risk assessments, FMEA, and customer communications
• Drive problem-solving and continuous improvement throughout the project
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and safety regulations
• Hands-on involvement in machine build phases and project milestones

What you’ll need:

• Engineering qualifications (preferably degree-level or apprentice trained)
• Proven experience in project management within an engineering environment
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple, technically complex projects under tight deadlines
