An opportunity to join a well-established labels company has arisen in the way of a Flexographic Printer position. Our client prioritises the use of recycled materials to produce high-quality labelling solutions whilst also reducing their environmental impact. They are seeking a skilled Flexographic Printer to join their dynamic team in Leeds.

Role Overview:
As a Flexographic Printer, you will play a vital role in their production process, operating advanced printing presses to produce high-quality labels. While experience with Nilpeter FA4 presses is preferred, it is not essential. Your contributions will be key to their commitment to sustainability and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate flexographic printing presses to produce labels with precision and quality.
• Monitor print quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to maintain optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Follow safety and quality control procedures throughout the printing process.

Requirements:

• Experience as a flexographic printer, preferably with Nilpeter FA4 presses (not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage of up to £18.50, with an uplift for night shifts.
• Weekly rotating shifts:
  • Earlies: 6:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday
  • Lates: 1:30 PM - 9:00 PM, Monday - Thursday (8:00 PM finish on Fridays)
  • Nights: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Sunday - Thursday
