Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for a self-sufficient, confident, and ambitious Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for career progression and development.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Duties:

• Reactive maintenance of medium & heavy plant machinery – conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, relays, inverters, fillers, sealers etc..
• Line improvement tasks
• Fault finding using PLC’s
• Can read and work from electrical schematics
• Use of root cause analysis to determine the underlying reasons behind problems and failures, seeking to identify areas for improvement in plant performance
• Continually drive towards a PPM culture

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Required Experience:

• Electrical qualifications from a recognised body - NVQ level 3, 18th Edition and/or BTEC L3
• Electrical fault-finding skills
• PLC experience
• Electrical/mechanical machinery maintenance (PPM’s and reactive)
• FMCG or heavy industrial machinery experience
• Experience in high volume manufacturing
• Continuous improvement projects
• COMPEX/COMAH environment

Panama shift pattern 2-2-3, day shift and night shift, 7 until 7
