Are you a passionate French Teacher ready to inspire the next generation of linguists? Step Teachers are working with a school on the lookout for a seasoned French Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving school community in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to make an impact on students up to KS4 in a supportive and dynamic environment. This role is set to start in January 2025 until April 2025.

French Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students at various levels.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing timely feedback to support their development.
  • As a French Teacher you should foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community.

French Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for languages and culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • As a French Teacher you should have experience teaching French at KS3 up until KS5 level.
  • Experience in teaching Spanish is desirable.
