Shift Engineer
Location: Leamington Spa 
Salary: £44,500 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (days and nights)

As a Shift Engineer, you will be an integral part of our maintenance team, ensuring the smooth operation of our high-volume production lines. You will focus on diagnosing and resolving faults, maintaining equipment, and minimising downtime. This is a hands-on role that demands technical expertise and problem-solving skills in an industrial/FMCG environment.

• Conduct electrical fault finding and repairs on industrial equipment, including motors and drives.

• Work with star-delta configurations and perform diagnostics and maintenance on PLC - controlled systems.

• Utilise your ability to read and interpret electrical drawings for troubleshooting and installations.

• Perform HMI fault finding and corrections to ensure minimal disruption to production.

• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to ensure long-term equipment reliability.

• Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve operational challenges quickly and efficiently.

• Adhere to safety and quality standards while working within a high-volume manufacturing setting.

• Qualifications: Must possess a relevant electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent).

• Experience: Proven experience in industrial/FMCG or high-volume manufacturing environments, ideally within the plastics industry.

• Strong background in electrical fault finding and problem-solving.

• Hands-on experience with PLC systems (programming knowledge is a bonus but not essential).

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical and electrical drawings.

• Solid understanding of star-delta motor configurations.

• Familiarity with HMI troubleshooting and repair.

• Previous UK-based experience is essential.
