Job Description:
Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Barking and Dagenham to find a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting a nursery class, providing essential assistance to young learners and helping to create a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Rate: £11.00 - £13.33 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, ongoing basis
- Hours: 8:30 am-12:30 pm (4 hours per day)
Teaching Assistant Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification, or
- Experience in a nursery setting
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing educational activities.
- Support the nursery teacher in daily tasks.
- Provide one-on-one attention to students when needed.
- Help maintain a safe and clean classroom environment.
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Must hold a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification or have relevant nursery experience.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in working with young children.
