We are seeking a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team from January 2025. As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching staff, leading small group sessions, and delivering lessons when required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA looking to take the next step in their career or an existing HLTA seeking a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff.

  • Provide support to students in their learning, helping them achieve their potential.

  • Lead small group interventions to support targeted learners.

  • Supervise whole classes during teacher absences.

  • Assist in the preparation of resources and the classroom environment.

  • Collaborate with teachers to assess pupil progress and adapt learning strategies.

About You:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience is essential.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.

  • Experience working within a school setting, preferably across different year groups.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
