Key Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Officer:

  • Support students with behavioural challenges, helping them achieve their full potential.

  • Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions.

  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to support student development.

  • Monitor and report on student progress and well-being.

Requirements of a Behaviour Support Officer:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational or support setting.

  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
