Step Teachers is seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Camden on a long-term supply basis starting in January 2025.

SEND Teaching Assistant - Role:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEND, ensuring their individual needs are met effectively.
• Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering differentiated lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.

SEND Teaching Assistant - Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant of EYFS/Year1.
• Strong behaviour management skills and experience working with SEMH and SEND children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEN.
