Class Act Teaching Services are working with a Secondary School near Witney that are looking for a full time Media Studies Teacher to start after February half term. This Media Studies Teacher role is full time and the school are looking for someone who can work on long term supply until the end of the academic year with the view to this potentially being made permanent.

Media Studies Teacher – Role:

  • Strong knowledge of the Media Studies curriculum.
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources, instruments, and equipment.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • The Media Studies Teacher must be able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
  • Compliance with the school's policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Media Studies Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Media Studies Teacher in a Secondary School.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A relevant Media Studies-related degree is desirable
