We’re proud to be working with a leading visual communications specialist as they seek an experienced Head of Transport & Logistics - a strategic leader ready to oversee and enhance their logistics operations.

The Role

As the Head of Transport & Logistics, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing the business logistics strategy. Reporting straight to senior leadership, you’ll lead the transport, shipping, and logistics teams, ensuring efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the transport and logistics strategy in line with business objectives.
• Oversee warehouse, logistics, and transport operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Lead contract management and negotiations with third-party suppliers.
• Identify process improvements, cost efficiencies, and opportunities to leverage technology.
• Manage department budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance supply chain management.
• Build a high-performing logistics team through leadership, mentoring, and recruitment.
• Establish a culture of collaboration and operational excellence across teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations.
• Respond effectively to risks, unforeseen challenges, and shifting priorities.
