We’re proud to be working with a leading visual communications specialist as they seek an experienced Head of Transport & Logistics - a strategic leader ready to oversee and enhance their logistics operations.
The Role
As the Head of Transport & Logistics, you’ll be instrumental in developing and implementing the business logistics strategy. Reporting straight to senior leadership, you’ll lead the transport, shipping, and logistics teams, ensuring efficient operations, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the transport and logistics strategy in line with business objectives.
- Oversee warehouse, logistics, and transport operations, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Lead contract management and negotiations with third-party suppliers.
- Identify process improvements, cost efficiencies, and opportunities to leverage technology.
- Manage department budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to enhance supply chain management.
- Build a high-performing logistics team through leadership, mentoring, and recruitment.
- Establish a culture of collaboration and operational excellence across teams.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring smooth operations.
- Respond effectively to risks, unforeseen challenges, and shifting priorities.
About You

- Proven experience in a senior transport and logistics role.
- Expertise in logistics planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
- A hands-on management style with a passion for fostering collaboration and team performance.
